Hi, I'm Juan Morales, founder of Five Alarm Bookkeeping.

I’m a West Texas business owner, accountant, and firefighter/paramedic with a passion for helping small-business owners feel more confident about their finances.

Before becoming a firefighter, I worked as an Assistant Controller for a mid-sized company, where I gained firsthand experience working with the financial side of a business. I also have practical bookkeeping experience managing the books for my own rental properties, giving me a perspective that goes beyond simply working with numbers on a screen.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas Permian Basin in 2019 and am QuickBooks certified.

Today, I bring all of those experiences together through Five Alarm Bookkeeping.

Why Five Alarm?

The name Five Alarm has a special meaning to me.

In the FDNY, a five-alarm fire represents the highest level of alarm response. As a firefighter myself, the name reflects something I value both personally and professionally: being prepared, dependable, and ready when you're needed.

That's the same mindset I bring to bookkeeping.
